November 12- I Corinthians 1 & 2

The church in Corinth is one that Paul started. As you can see from these chapters, it is in bad shape. There are arguments in this church over who is better. Paul reminds them this is how non-Christians think. God gives His wisdom to those the world thinks are foolish.

Would you prefer to have the wisdom of the world or wisdom that comes from God? Do you see yourself as superior due to your wealth, or education, or some other supposed advantage?
