Prayer of Jabez: Devotional

We have been studying a daring prayer found in 1 Chronicles 4:10. It is brief- only one sentence with four parts yet it gives us us a pattern for faith-based prayers that shift our focus, and put God at the center.

It’s not a magical formula. When we ask for God’s blessing, we’re not asking for more of what we could get for ourselves. We’re crying out for the wonderful, unlimited goodness that only God has the power to know about or give us.
