Here is virtually everything you need to know about our congregation at your fingertips!
Besides the ministries and links, here are some real FAQ’s:
- Church on the Sound held its first service at the Setauket Neighborhood House in January 1985.
- Since we met on the North Shore and desired to locate in the Three Village area, we chose the name, Church on the Sound.
- While on the Sound doesn´t refer to our location, (we´re actually about four miles inland) it does express our primary purpose: to be a community of believers who are committed to sound doctrine through teaching and Bible study, to express resounding praise to God, to the pursuit of sound hearts through small groups and vital relationships, and to be agents of God´s love to those around us, and to the world through missions.
Of course, there´s a difference between knowing and experiencing. The best way to get to know who we really are is to experience the congregation firsthand.
If you´re in the area, stop in and see us, and be sure to visit our Welcome Center.
Our goal as a congregation is to be a “spirit-filled” ministry to generations.
